FAQ

Where do you source your rough material?

I prefer to buy directly from miners when possible. If that is not an option, there are a few dealers with appropriate and transparent ethics that I buy from.

Do you cut rough provided by customers?

There are many variables within rough material that effect the outcome of the final cut stone, some of which can feel up to chance. Therefor I prefer to source my own and do not cut customer supplied rough.

Do you do repairs?

I do not offer repair as a service. That being said, if you have a stone that I have cut which has been damaged, I will work with you to repair that stone.

What is your final polish?

A final polish beyond 50k diamond is not often seen in the industry, with many stones only seeing 14k before being sold. I polish everything to 100k diamond, insuring as brilliant a stone under all lighting conditions and magnification as possible.

How do you handle shipping?

Shipping is free and done through USPS.

How do you insure you are accurately representing a stone without being able to show it in person?

Photographing gemstones is hard, particularly colored gemstones. I err on the side of under representing what a stone may look like in hand. I use a macro lens and provide pictures and videos in a wide variety of lighting conditions, to best communicate what a stone looks like through your screen. I am always willing to provide extra photos and videos in whatever lighting condition you may want, so feel free to ask.

Do you have a return policy?

Yes I do. I provide question free returns up to 14 days after delivery. I will issue the refund once I have received the returned stone and have confirmed it to be undamaged.
